Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby reidy125 » Tue Apr 20, 2004 11:29 pm

Ok, you may have noticed the lack of action for our club on Sky Tv this season, I know we haven't faired too well this season, but the amount of times we have been on sky has been disgusting. Arsenal's last 6 games are on TV, they didn't show us against Arsenal, and they are not showing us against Man Utd, what the hell is their problem? I was so angry when I found this out that I sent them an e-mail telling them I would i unsubscribe to sky, which I did. Just wondered if you guys could also send them an email, u2us@skysports.com
also pass it onto your friends, I know this won't change anything but it really cheesed me off and i was forced to cancel my sky sports package, anyway, leave it to you guys, thanks

I like the cut of your jib.

I'm cancelling my contract after 12 months anyway cause I think it's a rip off.  All the decent games are on Sky Sports 2.  I wont pay the extra, I think it's immoral.

I ripped it out of them, saying I was only writing this email cos I was waiting for the match to come on live on BBC RADIO 5! Which was actually true

I dont subscribe but I sent them this e-mail anyway

This is to inform you that I and my family are cancelling our subscription to sky sports after ten years.Your lack of coverage of Liverpool v Man U this weekend is final proof to us that you have lost touch with reality. We shall be watching the match live on Scandinavian satellite tv and listening to commentary on BBC 5 Live.

yours sincerely

can we all follow the example of greenred? Lets all send an email to sky, tell your mates to, start a chain letter, lets just get our message across, they are taking the p***

Sky is a load of sh##e.
I had it but cut it off. 60euros a month what a joke.

I have a different digital satellite and watch most of the matches in all the german, romanian, arabic, etc. channels.
A reciever a dish a motor(to turn the dish) a few illegal accessories and your laughing.

On the plus side, am I right in thinking that the fact that Sky aren't scheduling LFC's matches means that these games will be amongst those that terrestrial TV get the pick of when the renegotiated TV rights come into play?

yeah leon you go one like anfield has 200,000 spare seats every game. not every supporter lives in liverpool and is available to get to the game. Plus tickets sell out in seconds so its very difficult to get a ticket!
