1. Forum member of the year is the Drummerman and sabre in a dead heat for me. Anybody who has a tough time of it like Phil and still posts common sense afterwards deserves a pat on the back. Sabre is an absolutely essential cog of the forum in that he is extremely knowledgeable about football as a whole and can provide a fascinating insight into the Spanish angle. It's a pleasure to have them both around.
2. Best thread of the year for me is the transfer rumour thread. It's the one I always look at first.
3. Worst thread of the year was probably one of those started by the Brazilian guys after they won the game the other day. Being ersehole lucky is one thing but claiming that you were the better side is a nausiating way to carry on.
4. Jokers of the year are Judge, Lando and Leon in a treble dead heat. Judge makes it for his "dole drawing waster" line and for various other pointless but nonetheless funny as feck asides. Lando when angry could be on the telly. His vitriol is positively shakesperean. Leon, cantancerous oik that he is is at his very best when responding to an opening post which finishes with, "any thoughts?". Inevitably it's "just one,................". Sometimes cruel, sometimes totally uncalled for but almost always side-splittingly funny. All three make the forum compulsive.
5. Misquote of the year is probably "we feel invincible" from the other day.
6. Dispute of the year is anyone involving Stu and AB. They are equally argumentative, dismissive and obnoxious and when they go head to head, it is a fair fight and no quarter is given or taken. I also find the shadow boxing which comes after they've kissed and made up as funny as feck aswell. They start being semi-respectfukl to each other but you just know it can't last. Sooner or later one of them blows his top and it's off again. My notion and hope is that one day they meet up. Neither would admit it but I reckon they'd get on like a house on fire.
7. Worst rumour? Alonso to Villa. I ask you.
8. All the mods do an excellent job so I wouldn't pick anyone out. Thanks a lot lads for the job you do.

To everybody else and you know who you are, thanks very much for giving me something to do and someone to pass the time of day with. None of us would come if we didn't enjoy it. Happy Christmas to one and all. Mick.
