The Zaragoza player? he was a regularly good player in Zaragoza. Not a top class, but definitely one of those who were important in Zaragoza. That made him earn the transfer to Atletico Madrid, where (I think) he's not playing much (this season went there) but then that means nothing, Atletico Madrid is known for ruining many players. Good signing imho, not top class, but very useful.

It's the kind of man that has not brilliant performances, but every they he plays you say "more than ok". He doesn't disappear of matches.

It says on the skysports website that he is an excellent dribbler.

Sabre, have you seen him play much?
Can he beat a man and provide a quality cross into the box?

Unlike Gonzalez, I have seen Galleti more.

I think that saying he has played for Argentina is something, but I'll say my personal view.

Main feature: fast.

Good Crosses? decent crosses.

Dribbling? when the ball is stopped near the corner and must beat a man with pure dribbling, no he's not strong on that, but while running, with a simple touch outrunning the defender, yes, he does plenty of that

He has good exterior shot, and what's more he likes the big games, I remember he scored in the cup of the king final and some other importat goals.

He's not spectacular, though. I think he's the kind of player that divides people in opinion. the lack of pure dribbling and tricks make some supporters (least knowledgeable) dislike him. He's not Joaquin, if you see what I mean. But I think that coaches rate him high, he's the kind of player that makes a left back thinking twice before making a run to help the midfielder of his wing. He fixes him defending. This kind of thingies are often not appreciated enough in Spain. I think in England happens the same.

Another last good point about him is that he has goal, I remember a few finnishes in counterattacks. And while he's mainly a right wing player, he can be an attacking midfielder when required, and even second striker sometimes.

Saw him a few times during the Confederations cup, looked a pretty good player. If we were to sign him I think we'd use him as a very attacking minded right winger, or a support striker (a bit like what Rafa has doen with Cisse this season).  He should score a few goals and he has good pace and likes to take players on from what I saw.

I've seen Galleti play a few times for Zaragoza and Argentina, and a few short minutes for Atletico. Like someone said, he's a good player...but not great.  He's quick, that's his best feauture. He has a decent long shot, can cross the ball fairly well, and has decent dribbling skills. He's a "dangerous player" (Un jugador peligroso). Would he do a job on the right wing?? Probably. I don't know how I would feel if he was our number one target, though. Definitely not a bad option. Wouldn't cost that much.

An Argentinian who I would love to see us buy is Cesar Delgado. Plays for Cruz Azul. Can play on either wing, and as a striker.
