King will leave anyway. He has been very quiet about his future but has been quaoted in the past as saying he needs to se signs of challenging for European honours. Which mean unless Spurs finish 4th Ledly King could be on his way out.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Spurs have agreed a fee for AZ Alkmar defender Ron Vlaar, AZ are currently top of the Era Division, and the player will join them in January.
They already have good defenders where are they getting the money from and how many do they need?

I was reading somewhere that Ledley King has the same agent as Sol Cambell and Ashley Cole, Sol Cambell left Spurs fans heart broken when he left and signed for Arsenal, and all that sh1t with Ashley Cole to Chelsea.
If this agent is looking for a bif fat fee it would'nt suprise me if he is whispering into Kings ear to move to a bigger club.

My guess is that big payoff they got from Chelsea for poaching Frank Arnesen off them.

Do you know what Ciggy thats a cracking point Ron Vlaar, has recently won a place in the Dutch national squad and AZ are having a good season so why would he risk losing his worls cup place and the chance of league title in Holland to sit on the bench at Spurs.

I dont know much about him or AZ or the transfer but its unlikely he is going there to be a squad player in a World Cup year........There could be more to this King rumour.

I would welcome King into our squad with open arms.  he is exactly what we need. A quality CB who is English.  The problem would be do you drop Hypia who is bang on form this season, or not?

Competition for places is always a good thing, and to have to choose from Carragher, Hypia and King would make Raffas job a whole lat harder, but the King Carra partnership could last for years once Sammi hangs up his boots!
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

You are correct Mr Mac  :D
He has stated he wont be joining Spurs to keep any bench warm.
He will want first team footie for Holland for the WC and their players are all very young.
Also Klass Jan Huntelaar from Heerenveen maybe heading to Feyenoord to replace Dirk Kuijt.
Be very interesting if Jol buys these two, Spurs will be a very good team.
But what will happen to Defoe and Keane?

Centre back cover is top priority for us in my opinion, but the bulk of our budget has to go on attacking players.  Forget King.

I disagree, at Hyypias age he'll be the one moving to the bench soon. He himself sees his time as a regular starter as limited. Recently sami's pace, or lack of, has been exposed and i think this season Carraghers performances have carried him through the game. I think King or any other decent centre-back signing will be challenging for Hyypias place straight away

You talk rubbish. End of.

I think we should sign Mr Kuijt (or how ever you spell it). To have Crouch, Cisse, Pongo and Kuijt would be a good range of attacking options. Selling Nando would also be an option.
