Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Woollyback » Tue Apr 13, 2004 11:17 am

Passions are running quite high, understandably over the last couple of days on this forum. We're going through a terrible time at the club and everybody would give their right arm to turn it around and we've all got various theories as to what's wrong and how to go about putting it right.

The concensus of opinion is that the main problem we have is GH's management and personally I fully agree that GH has to resign immediately and for the club to axe much of the dead wood that he's brought in whilst in charge.

Some people however seem to think that GH's failings warrant a personal vendetta and vile threats toward him personally; that he should be hounded out of Anfield and made to feel scared for his life.

This is about YOU, "Shankill Butcher". You should hang your head in shame for the content of some of the posts you've put on this forum. You've made some genuine football points that I agree with and make sense. BUT you have also delivered a foul mouthed, bigotted, evil, sick, disrespectul tirade of unwarranted abuse directed towards a man who very nearly gave his life for this great club. Whatever you think of him you should SHOW SOME RESPECT for him and other members of this forum by keeping your vile hate filled thoughts to yourself.

Forgive me Father -for i have sinned. :D
You sound like one of my old school teachers...you should hang your head in shame...foul mouthed, bigotted, evil, sick, disrespectul tirade of unwarranted abuse = is that right? ((((((((SLAP)))))))))
Its wrong for me to call him names but sure you want the man sacked from his job? and almost died for the club WHAT! people take heart attacks in their every jobs every day for a helluva lot less money -are they all heroes too then? The guy took a hreat attack so stop twisting it to make him "give his life for the club" when on the other hand you want him kicked from his job ....its stressful being unemployed, do you care about his health or dont you?  ???

Shankill, you're confusing me here...   I though you were Johnny Adair's best buddy yet you're telling me you went to a school where you had to go to confession?  Is there something you're not telling us here...? :D

GH didn't have a heart attack and whatever he had certainly wasn't made any better by being a premiership manager. Lesser men would've retired from the game there and then but he decided to come back to LFC. For that he should be shown some respect. Yes I think he should walk asap cos he can't cut the mustard any more but no I don't think he deserves death threats and personal abuse.

Anyway, you sound just like my father - the only reason you don't want O'Neill is cos he's been at Celtic. If he'd been at Rangers (or any other club for that matter) you'd be having his name tattoed on yer a#se as we speak...

:;):  :;):

PS glad to hear you've curbed the swearing, they wouldn't like that at your catholic mass.....  :;):  :D

Nice to hear the "Shankill Butcher" has good friends who keep him in check. You're doing a good job by the sounds of it boys, if the majority of your workplace (like mine) are Scummers.  :)

By the way Johnny "Mad Dog" Adair is that f##kin nutter from the UDA or UVF or whatever the f##k they call themselves. Hopefully all you boys over there have had the good sense to forget he ever existed but his wife got moved over to Bolton near me to keep her out of harm's way so the w#nk#r's always got his name in the local papers. Since then it's been trouble non-stop, culminating in a bomb under her car, or one of her family car or something.

Anyway, the point is that's all got f##k all to do with LFC or football in any way, shape or form. I just wanted to wind up  the "Shankill Butcher" for one of his first posts about how much he hates GH. By the way, who or what is the original Shankill Butcher? Seems to have hit a nerve with some people...

Why Bolton? the people dont deserve that surely!
Anyways-the shankill butchers where a crazy bunch of men that drove round Belfast dragged ppl into their car and ...well ..i think you can work out what they did by the butcher tag. Defies Belief!
its really unbelieveable that 2 sets of fans -liverpool and scum utd can hate each other ..even in a belfast workplace lol
Rumour has it Van nistlerooy is leaving them ???

I think there are a lot of people on this forum from both sides of the sectarian divide in Ulster who support the Great Pool: its a great thing.

United in common hatred of the Mancs is what I say!
