I don't think the board will have the balls to sack Houllier at the end of the season. I can see a big pressure on them when the season finishes with Liverpool in 5th ( it's inevitable I mean how often can we cocking up everytime we are handed a break on a plate with big fancy dressings around it). But then things will die down and before you know it it's too late to get a new manager in because the season will be upon us and we are having this exact same conversation in October next year having lost 5 of our first 8 games (or whatever.
