Don't get carried away. Perhaps the loan move is for his own good, to get more playing time, exposure and experience. One David Beckham was loaned out by Alex Ferguson early on in his career to Portsmouth (or Plymouth? can't exactly remember the club) but it did him a world of good. The rest, as they say, is history.

I agree. And I'm of the school of thought that a good player, must be good in the top league and also the more "tough in contact sense" lower divisions. Xabi Alonso himself was loaned to Eibar, a team we have near here to play in the second division. He returned tougher, better in contact, and of course convincing many.

Anyway I do think that if those taunts were really chanted, we should find another team to loan him

I'll be gutted if Zak goes on a permanent deal coz my uncle goes way back with Zak's dad (Barry Whitbread) and that comes in very handy when it comes to tickets
