Anyone who thinks Owen's past it needs their head read. Anyone who thinks Owen's even past his best needs their head read.

Give Owen a good injury-free run of games and a team firing on all cylinders around him and he'll be one of the top 3 strikers in the world again. Let's hope he stays

Q: You're trapped in a room with a tiger, a rattlesnake, and a Manchester United Fan. You have a gun with two bullets. What should you do?

A: Shoot the United Fan. Twice.

well don know when he will be completely free from injury. He's very very good but gets injured far too often therefore can never reach the top notch where consistency is the key factor

Great stirker but injury prone. The question is will you cash in on him (say 30 million) or stick with him ......?

My opinion is to sell him and use the cash to strengthen the squad.

He's still got it and if his injuries settle down and Liverpool improve as a team, Owen will score in bucket loads.

Owen will always be class, even Ronaldo and Raul would struggle with injuries and playing in a one-dimensional team, fancy having emily as your strike partner. Its Hard.

Not when he plays like he did yesterday.

If Owen plays to his potential he could keep Houllier in a job and cover over a lot of the cracks in the team.

Liverpool are an ok side but if we had Owen at his best, he would carry us a lot higher than we are now.

We all know that Owen is one of our TRUE world class players , yeah he does seem to get more than his fair share of injuries but when fit and on form he would make it into any squad in the world . I never question his ability, only his commitment.:) They say a player reaches their peak at 28, after which their physical ability starts to decline although they continue to gain in experience . If Mikey signs for us again we can look forward to him getting better and better and better :D :D :D
