I'd lose Kewell, play 4 in midfield and shove Cisse up front alongside Crouch. Apart from that I wouldn't change anything, except possibly a 50/50 battle between Warnock & Riise for LB

Looks good Luke except I would have Cisse upfront :)

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I'd agree, i'd play 4-4-2 with Cisse up front alongside Crouch

To me it looks a very impressive line up, it accommodates all our best player with only 1 playing out of his favourite position, all be it our captain and best player. But he is our best attacking threat so why not use him in a more attacking position? Plus we will get more out of Alonso with Sissoko alongside him.

With that line up I would be very confident of beating any team outside 'the big three', home or away. And we would be quiet close to be able to go toe to toe with Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal in the head to heads.

Ok if we're restricted to a 5 man midfield and one up front I would still give Cisse the nod over Crouch, MAYBE Kewell would get a look in, and still 50/50 on Warnock vs Riise although I see where you're coming from with Garcia tucking in behind Crouch and Gerrard given a free-er attacking role

I'd still go 4-4-2 though, with the class we have in midfield do we really need 5 of the f*ckers in there?

Carlos Quieroz (sp?) made me laugh saying how the whingeing ManU fans were all stupid cos they were chanting for "4-4-2" when they were already playing that formation and still lost :D

In the 4-3-2-1 formation you have I would change:

Gerrard and Garcia to swap, i feel gerrard needs to be more central. He can influence the game better from there.

I don't think Crouch should be a certaintly as the lone striker, i think Cisse could adapt to that position

I like it, you have accomodated well for Garcia so he can play more central. If Kewell could hit his Leeds from, and we could sign say Joaquin for the right hand side then it would be a very formidable side. If Joaquin came in you could push Stevie central and either drop Luis or Harry depending on form, injuries, tactics etc. Obviosuly if Garcia played on the left, we would lack width down that side, unless Riise played in an attacking LB sort of position rather than Warnock. However Joaquin down the right would more than make up for the lack of width down the left.

Up front Crouch is not a bad option, but I'd love it if Morientes could hit form, as he and Joaquin could form a great partnership IMO.

We'd have Sinama, Cisse, Riise/Warnock, Zenden, Didi, Josemi, Traore as cover.

With another quality centre-half along with Joaquin (and perhaps a striker depending on form/sale of Cisse) then we'd be well on our way to winning the league again.

Alonso on the left???

that side is completely devoid of any width at all.
