why has it taken this long to ban this, and all the other, morons who plauge this board? I'm sorry but the mods are working far too slow, hence the numbers here are particularly low.

Totally disagree with your perspective . Why on earth should abuse of this nature be swept under the carpet ? . In no way was the sender "seeking a cheap thrill " via publicity" as you put it ,if that was indeed the case he would have posted his garbage in the open forum , perhaps he realised what our reaction would be if we saw such filth and thats why he chose to pm it.

If the original pm had been reported to the mods and the sender had been subsequently banned some people in here (you possibly may have been one of them ) would be asking "What happenend to Meelan 5 ,? he doesn't post in here anymore

I think it's important that scum are exposed and that members in this forum are aware of what goes on in here .

Perhaps you think that rapists and peadophiles should also have their deeds kept secret ,after all the neighbours might have thought "he was a bit quirky ,but harmless "

maybe so, but Meelan has been gobbing off for moths! He said that all Men in Liverpool beat their wives and various other insulting things. IMO, he should have been sent packing long ago and had his IP banned from this board. Simple, problem solved.

wouldn't surprise me. Surly the mods can just ban IP's....why do we have to suffer morons coming back under different ID's, only to continue their mindless abuse?

I am (maybe) a little bit more heavy handed than the other mods and if it was up to me, I would be a bastard and just get rid of trouble makers immediately. But when a decision like this needs to be made, don't think for one second that we don't discuss it properly and everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet. I can't just go over the other lads heads. I can't just ban people. We (the mods) need to communicate first and make a decision together. In the past when I have had to act quickly without discussing it with the other lads first, I have always explained my actions to them in detail. And they will tell you that themselves.

I have spoken to all the mods today bar JBG and LFC. And we are all in agreement up to now that this prick is history. As soon as LFC logs on, we will speak to him about barring his IP number and e-mail address. And we can only warn him up to a point as well. He's got four at the moment if I'm not mistaken. You've still got to give people a chance. Banning has to be the last resort. Unfortunately, he has used all his chances up today and he's now become a big problem. We will sort it though.

That's all we can do up to now.

i don't see how? My main point is, people like hustler get banned...then return 5-6 times with different ID's, simply to cause trouble. Surely after 3 id's have been banned a IP ban is in order?

I'm not saying ban people for 1 mistake.....i'm saying ban people who have no reason to be here but to cause trouble.
