Improvise ourself - Comfortable with championship. dont!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

The lads must now play as a Champion. We have our team set.  We have a winning Manager, UEFA Footballer of the year, super fast strikers, tall strikers, Thunderball midfielders/ wingers, solid defenders and Punching goalkeeper.

Get the composition back.! The lads should realize by now that Championship party is over. We are back in business.

Where is the one touch football Liverpool displayed at the beginning (when Rafa came and prior to the injury crisis.)

I was traumatized when we came back with 1 point from Midlesbourough match whereas Chelski and MU earned 3 points. Now Chelski is up top 12. Charlton beat Midlesborough 3-0 mate

Come on. If we play like we did with Sunderland or with CSKA Moscow recently, I dont think we can make it to even top 4 of the table. We were lucky in Monaco, mate. Good saves Liv.

This year we have stiff competitors and new competitors. Spurs is also in the race along with Bolton for Championship place. Charlton will be bidding for UEFA place. We have to outperform the others in term of ball control and sharp passings Then the finishing will come devinely.

We loose ball easily. And most of the time when the opposition players nears our lad, we tend to make wrong slacky passes. As Rafa said.. we get nervous. Address that problem quickly.

Its not enough to brag we are Champions.
Now as Champions we must display our class of football.
Cham is not a privilege but a liabillity. We must be consistent and maintain high standards.

Chelsea match is awaiting us in the Championship. Abromawich is furious. Liverpool beat his 2 clubs (Chelski and CSK Moscow) in one year and took away the cups.

So we can imagine how tough the game will be.

WE CAN DO BETTER THIS YEAR! This time we must not score 1-0 but trash Chelski with 3-0. Mourinhoe said in ten years Chelsea will have more trophys than Liv. He disgraced us. Liverpool earned those 72 trophys (including Supercup recently) over 30 years. Bloody hell he said he can do it in 10 years. He is mocking our victory. Dont we should show him who is the Cham.

So play well. Play whole heartedly. Thats what matters. Thats why Rafa says before the Supercup match that he is only thinking of the CUP and not a player(M. Owen)  isuue.

Viva Liverpool

Make no mistake, Spurs are the team to watch this season. I have said it time and again, they have improved trementously. With their latest addition - Lee Young-Pyo (Korean international coming from PSV) they look a solid side. Carrack and the Pitbull Davids provide a lot of stability in MF. Defoe and Mido have goals in them, not to forget Keane too.

I am strongly tipping Spurs to surprise a lot of people this season.

Spurs will do well, and they will probably oust teams like Bitters and Bolton for a place in the top six. But have no fear, we are going to win the league.
Stop whinging about the performances in the first two games. We got a point at one of our bogey grounds, and we got three points at home. Whats the problem?
The league will be decided on how the top teams do against each other ie Chelsea, Arsenal, Mancs, Liverpool.  Last year, we won one game out of six, and lost the rest - hence our league position. Chelsea, on the other hand, were undefeated.

we have the team ready except for the wingers and a defence.

no wingers like chelsea's duff, robben, swp, joe cole. to attack and score like strikers with drogba in the middle.

also we need kewell fully fit. he will make a difference if fit!!!

Drogba is useless.. He is a cheat. I dont fancy cheaters no matter how fast they are!  Duff is okay but to be frank ..I think we have better players than Chelsea.

I would sign Cole but with Gerrrad and Sisoko who needs Cole.
Roben ok.... but yet we can do without him

We need to play smart. Thats all. We have the force. Its only the move..

All over the world.. people dont hate Liverpool even if they are not Liverpool fans.. but Chelsea is a different story. Other fans despise Chelsea.

We won the CHampionship but we never offended anyone. (MU might feel jealous) but I think MU fans would want us to win it rather than Chelsea.

If we play good football people will always like us.

I am proud of our lads. save and except.. the one and only remaining Kewell. They other have left. He is the only one who remains. Probably no one wants him. We have better left wingers.  Zenden and Riise. The duo combine and deliver supperb left force.

We have to play Champion foot ball. The 3 point we won is on a free kick. Remember We did not penetrate Sunderland's defence and score. Our striker did not run 20 yards. 30 yards and drible the ball over several defenders to score the one goal. It was a free kick. We cant expect that forever.

There is no such team as boggey team. These teams tighten up their force when they meet us so that they wont get beaten 4-0/ 5-0 On the other hand we get comfortable. we think Its Midlesborough and Sundeland we can come home with 3 points. That is what I meant.

Super cup was luck. Maybe the Champion's luck.. If Ciise first goal was ruled out for hand ball .. thats the end of it. We never score another ball in 90 min.

And that is why I am saying we need to add one touch ball / a passing ball game in our style. We displayed it before. Why not now.

Come on. I love Liverpool We all do. We just want our players to play well.  :talktothehand
