The underdogs once again

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby A.B. » Thu Aug 25, 2005 8:54 pm

I'm just loving the comments certain Chelski and various other fans are making regarding our chances of getting through the group stages. Especially the Chelsea fans. It seems that they haven't learned their lesson from last year.

I'm greatly looking forward to this and let them write us off. Just like they did in last year's group stages. Just like they did against Leverkusen, Juventus and Chelsea. If they didn't learn from the first time that you don't underestimate the opposition then they're is going to be hell to pay.

We might aswell not turn up, according to everyone we are going to get beat, and knocked out, the same as the prem they are being very disrespectful for every team in the premiership, saying they will win everything.
And I am f*cking sick of Maureen the media whoar, every day and night on the news, on teletext, in every paper, the quicker Roman p*sses off the better.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

"You lot can't make it past the group stages"
"You lot can't beat Juventus at home"
"You lot can't get a result in Italy against Juventus"
"You lot don't stand a chance against Chelsea"
"You lot will lose at Anfield because all Chelsea need to do is score a goal"

Comments from last season. We have five, what the feck do they have?

You're right Lynds. The media was on our back through out the entire competition. When we won it they got friendly and started printing "Liverpool win it for England" bullsh1t. Liverpool didn't win it for England, Liverpool won it for Liverpool.

Hustler, is 2 your IQ by any possibility?

"I'm just loving the comments certain Chelski and various other fans are making regarding our chances of getting through the group stages. Especially the Chelsea fans. It seems that they haven't learned their lesson from last year. "

Comment shows that others think that our chances are slim, thus that makes us the underdogs. Is that to hard to comprehend for your feeble brain?
