maybe he was trying to ask who would win out of a fight between cisse and wiltord?

my money would be on cisse all the way! cisse apparently is a proper hard man off the field!
however cisse and wiltord are actually good friends of the pitch and supposedly cisse asked houllier to bring in wiltord before he came to anfield to help settle him down in the premiership.

Cisse is a decent enough makeshift for right wing, but unless we sign a specialist for that position before the window closes, I wouldn't be too surprised to see Pongolle get a run there once he's fit and playing again. Everytime I've seen him played out wide I've been impressed.

Havent read anything but the title, but Wiltord is a much better right winger, he can go inside and out plus he has good ball control. But dont really want him here.

but if rafa does make use of pongo on the right wing,that would leave (up front anyway) the choice between ciise/crouch or morientes..and with mellor as (at best) cover and baros going. wouldnt that then leave room for ..you know who? 6 strikers suddenly cut to 3 (with pongo as winger)

stupid is as stupid does , it was a bad enough topic to keep you coming back ? and as this is a discussion board and even if certain people dont like it did start one. and who cares how much cisse cost. he can play right wing, just as risse plays left wing or gerrard can play virtually anywhere. if your good enough you can do a job. garcia scored in the champions league , dudek saved us in the final , is anyone banging on about how we shouldnt of bough reina based on that ...no . so there goes that argument. if we dont bring in a right winger would it really be that bad if cisse played there until we do get one. and as for me being told ? how old are you that you cant have a discussion without silly playground taunts

firstly it is not a silly playground taunt, Im just telling it as it is as the guy who wrote that post before did make you look kinda silly. secondly based on the current squad situation now you say that cisse should go to the wing, if he goes to the wing then who is gonna get the the goals for us? I really hope that you are not saying that we should move cisse to the wing then rely on morientes getting us the goals. Anyway this thread is pointless as other people have said so don't start stupid threads.

p.s cisse is very determined to do well for us this season cause of last year and therefore he is very motivated to get us 20 league goals this season as he said in an interview. I dont see him getting those 20 goals on the wing, do you? however i can see him getting those goals that we have needed for a long time up front. Morientes hasn't given us any guarantee of how many goals he might score and with the way he has been playing, to be honest I don't blame him. Just as well you aint manager of LFC or ever will be.

you got told ? yes thats a really well thought out reply, one that i hear when i go to pick my 6 year old nephew up from school. and how exactly did he tell me , by rushing in and not reading the whole thread ( including the emoticon) anyway i dont come here to swap childish comments.i asked a question and some people agreed some didnt , deal with it. but not once did i say play cisse every game on the right for the rest of his liverpool career, so please dont exagerate it. ive said in previous posts i would like to see cisse upfront , but when nando is picked ahead of him, i would prefer to see him play on the right (unless rafa plays them both upfront ) than sat warming the bench. claiming we didnt pay 14 million for a striker to play on the wing means nothing. are some of you really saying you would rather see a 14 million player sat on the bench than playing right wing because when nando is upfront ( see boro game ) thats where he was

1. think about what you want to post

2. Write what you are going to post

3. Examine and REVIEW what you have posted and see whether it makes sense

4. If the post don't make sense, make changes to it.

5. You should now be ready to post your comment

If you follow these simple steps you'll be fine and it reduce the chance of you posting :censored:

1) i thought about it ( not my fault it was read wrong)
2) i did write it ( thats how everyone else managed to reply to it )
3) made perfect sense to me ( i asked a question )
4) no need to change it ( just dangle a carrot and wait for people to make up their own interpretation of it )

5) i was ready anyway

you forgot to add read every post and if your not sure on what the person posting is trying to say dont try and fill in the gaps yourself ,try asking them to explain further instead of making things up, and more importantly to always act on the advice you give out, saves wires being crossed. thanks for the good luck though

Don't know about you, but Cisse's pace and attitude with Garcia's touch, Wiltord's strength and Potters haircut sounds like a bit of a player to me. Bring him on.
On more serious note I think one or two are being a bit quick to write Cisse off as a striker. I said from very early in the piece that we paid way over the odds for him. We did of course, he was a typical Houllier signing but that doesn't mean he won't eventually make a player. I've been encouraged by his displays of late and would start him every game up front. It's probably the case though of making do. Let's face it, you could hardly ask Morientes to play wide right now could you?, totally lacking in pace and drive as he is. Mind you, Zenden does it on the left so I guess anythings possible.
