You were a vice president of the Indonesian Liverpool Supporters Club. You were invited to take a major role in an arrangement to host the Cristiano Ronaldo's visit to Indonesia's tsunami-hit province of Aceh to raise funds for the dependents. You would get a relatively-considerably payment for it. This fundraising campaign themed "UNITED in charity" is sponsored by SEVEN (number of Ronaldo's jersey in MU) STARS CORP. Ronaldo was planned to donate about US$100,000 from his own pocket.

Would you accept the invitation?

1. definitely, it's all about humanity, no doubt, nothing to do with football.

True.But....I never enjoy watching people donating plenty of money and appear on the newspaper.
This sometimes makes me assume that they're buying publicity and not really giving out of the heart. This feeling gets to me sometimes.Should he donate,he should've left it anonymous and kept quiet.

Of course, humanity and common sense, we can't let football shadow our common sense.
You would get a relatively-considerably payment for it.

I'd donate also my share for this event.

Annie, now you're into "what if" land.
What important is IMO if I could help somehow (and from Your story it would be significant help) I'd do it.
Manure, Cheatski, no matter, if it's for the worthy cause (and help for tsunami victims is more than worthy cause) I'd do it.
About shirt thing someone would have to explain it to me if that gesture would help in generating some more income for the fundation.

couldn't wear a scum shirt, would violate everything I stand for.

Can't see how it would enhance the charity drive anyway tbh?

I had a massive debate with my friends, from Indonesia. They are president and vice president of the indonesian liverpool supporters club. I said that if i were them i would have refused their (compulsory) policy, that is, to wear manure jersey during the events. They insisted they only did it for humanity.

I asked them if they would do it again if next time they were invited to facilitate Wayne Rooney, sponsored by -say, EIGHT STARS corporation, themed "UNITED in charity". They said they would. I said you are not my friend anymore (in terms of supporting Liverpool)
