Nows the time to start thinking about which team Rafa will field tomorrow, and whether we will o for a defensive tactic, to weather an early onslought by Shevchenko and co.

I think we should come out of the blocks fast, and try and score a goal or two first half, then defend it second half.

Id leave baros and biscan out, as i think this is our best team to cause them problems, plus the fact theat hamann has played in a world cup final.

i dont wanna get into naming a team as i think its kinda pointless, just leave that to Rafa. But i think the 'going for it early' attitude that i have seen over the last few days in various threads is a bit risky for my liking.......
REMEMBER the juve game we battered them first half (but they still hit the post and Zlatan also issed a sitter too!!) and got the two goals...but in the second half we ran out of steam and were under pressure for the whole half, ok u might say we held out, but that type of footy is risky, especially in such an important game. The difference is MILAN will go till the end and are used to scoring VERY VERY late and have done so many times in seria A this season, and even against PSV too!!!! As an avid watcher of italian football (and a soft spot for juve) JUVE are used to going ahead first and controlling a game from there, and HATE coming from behind, especially two!!!! Milan dont give a F*ck and know they have players that can get them back in.

I agree an early goal would be perfect, but i disagree that the gameplan should be to go all out early, as im sure thats what Milan will be expecting anyway, JUVE were'nt!!!!!!

No, the real difference!!!!..... is that Juventus are a far stronger team and won serie a, not Milan! we werent hanging on versus Juventus at all, we contained them, and defended well.

Juve won serie a and we dumped them out!

They conceded 3 goals versus psv and nearly went out!

LFc can score late goals too, look at the three versus olympiacos in the second half!

Milan have aging defenders, and maldini is 38!

Im sure baros will skin him, or Cisse.

My basis for attacking first half and defending, secnd half is a mirror reflection of what we have done so far in the CL.

So because Milan didn't win the Seria A, Juventus is superior? Does that mean that Everton are better than us?

I'd say you're correct with that AB but rumour has it the team trained a lot in the past few days with Kewell and Cisse as the forwards. However, my own view is that its probably a preparation for the team that will play the last 30 minutes.

Like the lineup AB but would prefer Cisse to Baros and Traore alwys worries me . In the premiership i like the Warnock / Risse combo on the left but I'm not sure if Warnock is ready for a game this big.

What about Kewell ? he's not on your sheet , d'yer think he has a part to play

I'm not talking about just in the Premiership, I'm speaking overall in all competitions. Would had Everton gotten as far as we have this year?

Kewell has done abosolutely nothing therefore he doesn't deserve to start in the CL final, perhaps come as a sub. Where the f#ck was he when we played against Leverkusen? He refused to travel with the squad to Germany but now all of a sudden he doesn't feel any pain.

I think the team picks itself, although I wouldn't rule out Benitez springing a surprise.

We might see Kewell in there at the start but I doubt it.

I'd be suprised if that wasn't the team. Very suprised.

While i think Kewell and Cisse should be in there for there quality, how do you change a winning side? Not only a winning side but an all conquering side

Again i disagree. Did you see him against Leverkusen? If anything he was one of our best players. The lad has the ability and temperament to play in any game just like Carragher.
