i am not a catholic, but i am concerned for the welfare of one of the worlds greatest personalities.

as you all are probably aware the pope is very ill, and had to be resusitated last night.

he has been given his last rites.

he is a charismatic character, who has survived assasinations and times when the catholic church was in somewhat disarray, nonetheless, the pope is a genuine good guy, and we should all wish him a recovery, if that is at all possible.

gods speed a recovery your eminance

please post your well wishes here. It should not matter what religion you are, it matters that you are all part of humanity.
so post freely

i do send my wishes, but in all honesty the guy is like 80 odd years old and has had a great innings.
As you know im not a catholic, but doesnt mean i dont care. The guy has done a lot of good and made a lot of sacrifices for his beliefs which we all have to admire and he has made the sacrifices that none of us could ever make.
Safe journey mate, job was a goodun

ps - Francis Arinze (Nigeria) next pope, 11/4 good odds

fair enough, all the best to the Pope but I think he's on his way through to the other side. He's done a good service.

i heard they told him if he has sex he may live, the pope said "ok but with 4 conditions, she must be blind so she cant see who i am, number 2, she must be deaf so she cant hear who i am and number 3 she must be mute, so if she discovers who i am she cant tell anyone"
the priests say "OK your holiness, what about number 4?"

the pope replied " she must have massive t!ts"     :D

maybe Dom's time has finally come :D

I don't know why the catholic church can't just retire the old fella on health grounds. he seems like a good egg, let him go out with some dignity

as the pope used to play in goal for poland, a friend of mine said that if he unfortunately passes away, that jerzy dudek will become the new pope.

i said the last thing the church needs is a leader who is uncomfortable near crosses.
