If we don't - 4th

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

the thing is that it might end up that we need to catch Arsenal for 4th, the way they are droping points I can see Everton overtaking them.

3 Arsenal 28 32 58
4 Everton 28 5 51
5 Liverpool 27 12 43

your backside

arsenal will finish 3rd at least, trust me, u're making everton out to be a top team, but they aren't, ok to b honest, they're 3rd cause they have played well so far this season and got good results and we are 4th cause we havent got better results

but theres no point of being down about it and negative, you have to believe your team is going to do well every match they play even if u doubt it, but one thing for certain is, we need to put together a outstanding run from now tili the end of the season, if we dont, we dont deserve to finish 4th simple as that

If this and if that, too many "ifs". Theres no point talking about what Everton are doing, we have to worry about ourselves and only ourselves.

Everton's form is irrevelant. We're not just trying to finish 4th to be above them, we want to qualify for the CL and the players know that. They know how important the rest of the games are and before they've come through at the end, they will do it again.

Not finishing 4th this season isn't a doomsday senario. i mean 2 seasons ago we finished 5th....nothing happened rite ?

Yes, we will have less money...yes not many top players will join us next season, but i am sure the board (or the new owners) will give rafa the money needed to strengthen the squad. And if Stevie G leaves thats another 30 million.

Lets just write-off this season. I personally think it is too late to be worried about 4th. If we get it, great. If we don't, then too bad.  We are the reason eversh1t is at 4th place now. We just didn't perform in too matches this season....and then we had the refs...who cost us matches......

Lets just concerntrate on inflating our trophy cabinet and getting as much money as possible from our champions league run.

Personally i think good players will still join us next season even if we don't qualify for champions league.  (look at valencia, knocked out of uefa & how many good players they have ..... and newcastle going after owen..WTF).

This is just another freaky season. I wouldn't be suprised if eversh1t gets relegated next season....thats how sh1t their squad is.....and they just keep winning games this season. I don't get it..... I can only see them failing if nigel martyn gets injured.

Yeah, even rafa does not know why. he was quoted as saying "things have to change. We keep making the same mistakes after every 3 games"

It is annoying when we are on a winning run, then lose to birmingham & saints. But Rafa will fix it next season.
