If we don't - 4th

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

if we fail to finnish 4th just what do you think the effect will it have on our great club.will it be the straw that broke the camels back ? would we ever be able to recover or would the gap between ourselves and the top three become a bridge to far, could we get over the fact that the bluenoses finnished above us,would we be able to attract top class players.we would lose what little financial muscle we have, and without a massive input of investment,i really think we would struggle, and it would send our great club into a downward spiral from which we may never recover.i think its really that important.what do you think ?   ???  ???

i think the bridge between us and the big 3 is already too big, could be 10 years before we next win the league

I think next season is more crucial. People know that this season was always going to be a trasitional season.

If we fail to get into the top 4 next year then we are in the sh1t.

I think 10 years is a little over the top to catch the top 3.  I would say with the right financial backing it will take 3 yrs to start winning titles again.  Bring it on!!!

Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Let's get to the point, Everton are now eight points ahead of us with 10 games to be played.

We on the other hand have a game in hand and need to win as many games as possible. We also still have to play them at home. Is it impossible to finish fourth? No lets not forget that we didn't get into fourth place until very late of the season last year.

Head says yes, heart says yes.

I understand that we are inconsistant but we were inconsistant last season and we didn't come in fourth place until very late in the season and with that being said theres plenty of games to be played.

I am not ruling out us from finishing in fourth place. It's far too important for us to bottle it now.

After watching everton today I think we can kiss 4th good bye, they are not even worried about whos behind, Moyes is pushing them all the way to get 3rd.
You can see it in his face the players are playing out there skins. I think its theres already Im afraid :(

I was in a great mood till I watched that game, I was really lookin forward to tomorrow, but its put a big downer on the whole Carling Cup game :(
Maybe I will feel better tomorrow but I feel pretty low now.

can't believe where neverton are gettin it from. villa aint the best team in the league, but they ain got a bad record at home, and they got murdered. i understand where A.B.'s comin from, but things are lookin bleaker each week. makes you realise how important stupid performances against the likes of blues and saints could well be costly.
on the brighter side, theyve gotta come to Anfield and (i think) play both manure and a.rse so maybe that game in hand will be crucial. certainly means we gotta take all 3 points at Anfield and really do them some psychological damage if possible.
this ain meant to appear pessimistic, ain my nature, but large slices of good fortune jus ain landin at Anfield of late.

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

Villa were sh#te today that Angel cost 10 million he needs shootin hes cr@p :kungfu: .
Everton even tho it kills me to say played very well infact it should have been 6-0 to them.
They are going to be really tough to beat at anfield as our players arnt as phyisical as theres.

We had 2 games in hand against pretty easy oponents and blew it a few months ago.
Dont bank on us beating Newcastle or Blackburn and our away form is awful if only the game against brum would have been diffrent ffs CP beat them 2-0 today

Say what you like but form is temporary and class is pernament. How many times have we seen various teams go on a good run only to be followed by constant games of losing?

Example: Bolton

They were horrible two months ago, look at them now. Everton are in no better form than we are, statistics prove that. 11 games to go for us, 10 for them.

We will finish fourth, mark my words. I have no doubt about that. Let the media say all they want, that is irrevelant. You can take their papers and wipe your ar$es with it. It means nothing, even the so called pundits predicted that the big three would win in the Champions League.

It's up to the players, what the media thinks is irrevelant. I have faith in the team and so should everyone else.

What happened to believing in the team or are we just throwing that out of the window? Just look at last season. We pulled it through when nobody thought we could do it.

I like to get right to the point. Why discuss something for pages when it can be said in a post or two?

Bloody hell we were all saying 4th is ours now the blue ****** win a game and thats the end of the world.Forget Everton if we go on a Run we will take 4th spot .Villa are not that good mediocre at best(thats flattering for them) Like AB say's class is permanent ,get behind the Lad's .A winning mentality is needed by the fans as well as the team fourth will be ours and the way Arsenal are going we may get 3rd .33points for us to grab :)

I know Arsenal where awful today there confidence is blown to bits, think our was too, if we put a good run in ofcourse I have confidence in Liverpool, but performances like Brum and the Saints, makes you doubt them. :(
