Interesting stuff.

Parry's statements are clever in that any future SG transfer cannot be construed as a lack of ambition by the club to not try and keep their best players. Personally I would be happy if they turned it down if it was offered as RB wants to build the side around SG. However upping the ante is another smart move by Parry.

I feel confident that Anfield will always remain somewhere in the new ground's identity. Being realistic I think again Parry is right it is his duty to explore the possibilities. I would hope that there isn't a complete sellout and the Anfield name is lost. Some compromise should be achievable.

I still don't trust the colour of Steve Morgan's money by any stretch of the imagination. His offers significantly undervalued the club and his PR was not convincing to say the least whilst his dealings were in the spotlight. I believe the L4 proposition is still ongoing and reading Kraft's track record I like the look of that much better, regardless of the fact that he can bring more financial clout to the party than Morgan could ever hope to.
