there have been a history of goalscoring debuts down the years including stan collymore and michael owen. lets hope morientes will add to that list because generally speaking, we have struggled to score enough goals against the top sides.

I'm sure one of the players will tell him the story on the S**. I've never bought the paper (never had anyway).

Just out of interest, is it still boycotted in Liverpool? I hope so but am just a bit concerned about how short memories (i.e. stupid people) are fairly common.

FrankM wrote:I read on BBC text this morning that Moro says the arrival of Owen signalled his departure from RM.

What annoyed me was that the report stated that his comments came from an interview with the Sun.

Am I being to sensitive in being annoyed at this. Maybe so.

I think he should know our views on those cnuts.

YES . you are being to sensitive in respect to Morientes holding an interview with the scum.I suspect that even Rafa doesn't fully appreciate the outrage that is still felt by the people of  Liverpool. Why should anyone new to LFC, player or fan ,particularly those who don't even speak english , why should they be aware of something a newspaper said about us almost a decade ago.
Remain angry with the scum but don't sh'it on the innocent and (through no fault of their own) ignorant.

I can imagine that there was a whole bunch of reporters present, all wanting first hand at the story.
He probably spoke to all of them in what little english he speaks, plus Rafas english isnt that perfect either.
