Interesting article on drug taking which seems to agree that the Mutu case and Rio's is only the tip of the iceberg but it doesn't seem to reach any conclusions.

it also highlights why davids and stam where allowed to get away with taking nadrolome and only get 5/6 months i know its a diffrent league but do u really want your kids idiolising a drug cheat ???

I don't have any smpthy for those who use personal problems for drug abuse. Everyone has problems but that is no excuse to be a pill popper.

I agree Pig Catcher, if I have personal problems I drink Vodka, sniff coke and crush my E's and sniff them too.

The only way to sort this drug problem is to make drugs in sport compulsory .

Mutu, an intelligent fellow, is no impressionable youngster, suddently floundering in a sea of wealth, unused to swimming against the tide. Moreover, he signed a contract which warned of the dire consequences of drug-taking, which should count for something. If due process did unfortunately get overlooked, in the immediate recriminations, the lesson here is that behaviour which is detrimental to others, must ultimately be punished; and for self-evident reasons, prominently so.
