Liverpool V PSG 14th April KO at 20.00

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby red till i die!! » Tue Apr 14, 2026 3:41 pm

We can do this  :buttrock  We have performances in us to beat the best but we need to dig deep for it. We have got to contest for every single ball from the get go and put in the hard work. The onus is on us to do that and bring the game to them.

This could be the game that ends up defining Slots future so I hope he has them fired up and ready to go and win this game.

Cmon the pool  :buttrock

If the players give 110% from the get go the crowd will get behind them and after that anything is possible. Even if we have almost zero chance of winning this competition this season even if we go through today, I'd be happy if we just manage to eliminate these out of sheer stubbornness and spite. They're an abomination of a team similar to Man City and took an unfair advantage during the weekend by taking a rest given by their farmer's league.

I read a stat that Frimpong and Salah have started about 8 games together and in those games Salah has 6 goals and 3 assists, so both of them should start on the right IMO. Hopefully Rio starts too, if nothing else the crowd will definitelly appriciate it and it will lift our spirits up.

Nights like this when our backs are against the wall and we can circle the wagons are what our supporters live for, what Anfield was built for and what this club exists for.
These nights when we look down and out and on our knee's are our versions of Halloween, we know Anfield's not just a stadium its a church and a cemetery, make no mistake the ghosts of history and the  ghosts of the past will be out in force tonight, PSG may only date back to 1970 but we fvcking don't, the old place we call home dates back to the early 1880's, thats a lot of ghosts and a lot of memories Paris have got to face tonight. This is a proper fvcking football club with history and roots in a community and pride - as this fvcking crowd are about to find out tonight
COYR dont let us, the shirts, the badge and yourselves down. Throw the fvcking kitchen sink at them and if we go out lets go out on our shields.

We've got nothing to lose, as you lads said just feking go for it. I'm confident we will score but I could also see the same from them unfortunately.

Heart says anything is possible at Anfield on a European night.

Head says we’ll leak goals and lose by 2 or 3.

Lineup has no Mo or Rio.

Not the line-up I was expecting or hoping for tbh. Salah and Rio on the bench. Isak starts, not sure he's ready for a game like this one.

Just hope Slot has the team selection right because it definitely isn’t what I would have gone for. Big night for Ekitike and Isak. Rio and Mo score cracking goals at the weekend and neither of them start.

We can’t keep hold of the ball. And our fullbacks have both started poorly.

Frimpong and Kerkez give the ball away at every opportunity.
