Good win that. Hope we get a lower tier team in the next round.

Milly was on the bench yeah, he had the kit on under his tracksuit. I think we played decent tonight against a team struggling at the moment. Dom, Salah and Jones were very good. I still think we are missing some steel in that midfield though, its way too easy to play against.

Id throw alot of money towards Elliott Anderson this summer.. I think hes just the player we need to bulk up that midfield. He reminds me alot of Hendo/Milner.

Good solid win which puts us in the hat for the next round, thought that was Mo's best game for a while, it will be handy if he starts playing well between now and May, thought Kerkez was outstanding, he's really growing on me, we made some excellent signings in the summer they've just taken a while to settle that's all. Bodes well for the future though.

I agree about Kerkez, he really put a shift in yesterday. He always looked nervous on the ball and was always abit too safe. Now his confidence is up hes bombing down the left and getting in good areas to deliver dangerous balls. The crowd are really getting behind him aswell which will help his confidence.

Im looking forward to Isak coming back, it'll be like a new signing again.. I think Ekitike/Isak/Salah with Wirtz behind would be electric to watch.

Good game and equally good result.
Credit were it's due, Kerkez impressed with his best performance since joining us, and Szob put in another telling performance, so far he's my player of the season  :buttrock

I didnt want us to sign Kerkez i wanted the fella from Wolves who went to City and i couldnt see a player in him when he first arrived, out of all our summer signings i thought he'd be the one to flop but he really is developing into a terrific player, the way he plays you'd swear he was born in Mill Road hospital and grew up on Breck Road. His energy and enthusiasm is Keegan-esque.
Him and Dom are real throwbacks to the Magnificent Magyars of 1950's when the Hungarian's gave everyone a footballing lesson.

I'm thinking beyond Salah and imagine more of just a front two Ekitike & Isak with Wirtz  playing the number 10 role,
Attacking width will come from our two fullbacks  :buttrock

Wolves away in the next round. Could have been worse I guess but also could have been better, Chelsea got Werxham and Arsenal got Mansfield.

Cant complain about that draw, it would have been nice to get another home game but normally by this stage we've been drawn away to United or Arsenal so as i say, cant complain.
