The fans have had enough, boos at full time. And who can blame them, given they're paying their hard earned cash to watch this garbage.

I was in favour of Slot staying until the summer, but there's no way we're finish top 4 with this turgid $*i*e.

Time we all moved on, it isn't working and there's a world class replacement available.

Did the crowd really boo'ed?  :bowdown  :eyebrow

I was following it on the radio and certainly sounded like booing to me.

The Anfield faithful has had enough. And we’ll soon be mid table, because I zero confidence we will beat Bournemouth or Newcastle next.

The mighty Liverpool have drawn at home to Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland, the 3 promoted teams.

I love Xabi but we've got to watch we dont jump out of the frying pan and into the fire here, Xabi is a child of the ticky-takka era where spanish teams just kept the ball for the sake of it half the time.

He is indeed.. and the top 3 teams in the Premier league have a Spanish manager, and the current UCL holders also have a Spanish manager. They must know what they're doing.

Pep has/had a close relationship with Arteta, and Arteta has grown up as a kid playing alongside Alonso and both remain close friends. Also Alonso has a very good relationship with Pep having played under him at Bayern.

I read Xabi is considering the Frankfurt job. I think there is a sense of out of the frying pan and into the fire as a reaction to how we are doing at the moment, I think it’s important in these moments you keep a clear head. I think if Xabi goes to Frankfurt and repeats his success  as a manager then yes but I don’t think he is proven yet. With the team Real have he should have dominated and he didn’t. Also I don’t think he looks at us as we look at him.

If Xabi does come back then we will see Sabre posting again

We have the players, we just need a manager to motivate them. Maybe when you remove the mega motivator Jurgen, the changing room just seems dull, the mojo has been lost. Slot needs to create his own mojo. Xabi was always quiet, how would he differ from Slot. You could say that the slayers of the old team, Robbo, Trent, Milly, Hendo, Mane and Bobby have left but the new manager hasn't convinced their replacements yet. It's like starting an old engine from cold, it's turning over and smokey but it still ain't firing.

4th-9th is separated by 3 points. We really need to start winning games otherwise we could forget about UCL next season. We're fortunate that Chelsea, United and Newcastle are playing mediocre like us.
