Firstly...when Houllier first came in he signed alot of good players and rebuilt a pathetically weak squad and turned them into title challengers and cup winners.
We got 80 points in the league in a season and it wasn't fluke. It was down to solid tactics and playing to our strengths but that wasn't enough for some people. We still had the mindless minority morons sshouting how it wasn't good football. We played deep to protect the lack of athletisism in the back line and maximise the athletisism of Gerrard, Owen and Heskey. Yet people were moaning because we weren't pretty. Well i got news for yer people... good football is WINNING football. end of.
For f##ks sake can you not see the injuries we've had this season? Hamann, Owen, Gerrard, Kewell, Baros, Carragher, Henchoz, Finnan, Kirkland, Dudek, Riise and Murphy... ALL OF WHICH are first team regulars.
Are you telling me when we eventually get everyone back and fit we're going to be playing at the same standard? If you are you're deluding yourself with hatred for the club, management and players.
I'm not being funny but like i've said in another post... there has been 2 f##kin games this season... YES THATS RIGHT!!! 2 GAMES were we have been missing only 2 first teamers... EVERY OTHER f##king MATCH!!! YES AGAIN!!! EVERY OTHER MATCH... we have been missing... make sure you read this next part as it forms the basis of my argument... 4 FIRST TEAM PLAYERS WHO ARE CERTAIN STARTERS WHEN FIT!!!! EVERY f##king MATCH!!! and on most of those occasions AT LEAST... YES AT LEAST its included at least 2 of our top players either it being Hamann, Gerrard, Owen, Kewell, Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia Kirlkland have been amougnst those injured.
Once everyone is fit players like Riise, Biscan't, Heskey, Smicer, Diouf, Pongolle won't be relied upon so the performances are going to improve.
