Always a worry about getting a result straight after an international break but we never looked in doubt even after finding ourselves behind early on.  It went a lot smoother though after Bobby came on and considering the travelling he did last week he was exceptional.
Mane was also excellent and was unlucky not to have ended up with a hattrick. Himself and Bobby were our best players today.

Newcastle can have no complaints at all because they never even tried to press us and just sat back. Personally I would rather my team lose 4 or 5 nil but have a proper go rather than employ shyte tactics and lose 3.1.

Anyway still unbeaten and looking like we can take anyone at the minute.  :nod

City currently down 1-3 to Norwich with 5 mins to go...we could be 5 points ahead after 5 games . How important are Laporte to City?

Great result and a very good performance after going one down.

True grit and determination typified by Mane simply wanting to restart after his equaliser and barely celebrating.

City lose to Norwich in what is going to be the result of the season more than likely...a 5 pt gap after 5 games. WOW ..

We need to keep our feet firmly planted on the ground and make sure we keep going.
I reckon 4 points against Citeh this season will mean we pip them this year,

Attacking teams are obviously the remedy for City as they don't like to defend. Going straight at them is the only way to beat them, or at least survive and salvage a point. Trying to defend against them was a mistake last season which cost us the title at the end. Hope we won't do the same mistake this season.

Agree, the season before we just went at them and were putting 3 or 4 past them just for fun in each game.

This season Jurgen needs to take a much more cavalier approach against them in order to take what would be a title defining six points off them.

Great weekend all round though and hopefully that Laporte loss continues to inflict them even more pain.
