Liverpool Football Club - Games

Klopp will rotate so i wonder who will start. We will also be playing Burnley after a few days which will be a tough match.

I think Klopp will rest Salah and start Mane. Also i can see a start for Lallana and Oxlaide.

My guess...

            Mignolet

Gomez  Matip   Lovren   Robertson

            Can
      Lallana  Wijnaldum

Mane                Oxlaide
         Firmino

It's difficult to predict because Klopp may play Solanke instead of Firmino.

I won't mind that line-up, won't be surprised if we see exactly that either. Scoring against these won't be a problem IMO, so we could afford to give both Salah and Coutinho a much needed rest (Firmino deserves one too but resting him as well would be taking the *****).

Leicester are no mugs though, they've been in good form and they're hard to stop from scoring. Thankfully, we're playing at home, and believe it or not, we've only conceded 3 goals so far this season at Anfield. So I think we'll win. 2-1 to us.

It's hard to predict what he'll do, Leicester are a funny side, yes they are halfway down the table but on their day the likes of Mahrez, Vardy and Demarai Gray can give anyone trouble. We put out a scratch side against them in the League Cup and got our @rses kicked.
I'd play a decent side against them myself, the race for the top 4 is too tight to be fvcking around too much with line ups, we are 4th now but if we draw with Leicester we could easily be 6th come Monday.

Another point to note is our CBs will try to give it their all because of Van Dijks arrival. One of them will want to partner VVD so that is a positive for us.

Vardy and Mahrez can be very dangerous on their quick counter attacks so we really must keep it solid at the back.

No Coutinho or Salah?  I see your point, but we may need them to overcome Leicester.
I personally would like them to start, then sub them off second half. to rest them.

The manager may even opt for Milner and Hendo in Midfield, although I hope not, they have zero creativity.

This fixture generally wouldn't concern me but away to Burnley 2 days after is a bit of a p!ss take in all honestly and I fear 2 half baked 11s put out. Hopefully we get a minimum of 4 points. Less than that and we're up against it with City next to play...

We need maximum points vs Leicester and Burney because we will be facing City after. I'm somehow confident we will be the first to beat City however it is City end of the day so anything is possible.
6 points and a loss at City won't hurt much. Ideally next 3 games 7 points would be good to keep up with the pace.

4 points from our next 3 games would possibly put us 5th or 6th which isn't ideal so to be honest we must go for maximum in our next two games and try to get something off city.

Obviously it would be nice to win both games. The Leicester match you know is going to be end to end, and probably the Burnley match also.
Could do with the six points as Arsenal play Chelsea on the 3rd January, so one of them will drop points.

Liverpool team: Karius, Gomez, Matip, Lovren, Robertson, Can, Milner, Coutinho, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

So the Fab four start. Interesting

Nice one mate.
Looks a decent side, I'm not sure Milner has got the legs to play CM anymore but apart from him it's probably the best side we've got available.
