He's still only 29. How much do you reckon he'd cost? He's been there ,seen it and done it for L.F.C, maybe just maybe Rafa could get that bit extra out of him.Is it as much a risk as buying another player from abroad?

A point I've made several times. There are few teams in the Prem that he hasn't tormented several times in the past, and for something like £1m, I'd be mesmerised to see how he got on working under Benitez.

I remind you - 2 years ago he went to the World Cup. Two years on, there aren't too many English strikers I'd want ahead of him.

Everyone would love the old robbie back sure but hes a sub for city how and why would Rafa even look at him?
We still love him for what he done for the club and I was gutted when he left, but lets just keep fond memories hey, he likes his social life to much and thats whats killed his career off. He lacks pace and passion, hes the second richest english footballer due to all his investment in property he doesnt have that passion anymore and to be honest he only ever had that passion for us.
Leave it the way it is, happy memories but he wont be returning to anfield to be playing for us ever again im afraid.
Hes still GOD though and good on ya robbie lad hope ya stick 2 fingers up to them manc b@stards again
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Let's get a campaign going. Banners at every home match.

And no, I'm not joking. When we have a side that has Kewell playing up front, why not?

I'm talking about going in for both Morientes AND Fowler. Fowler would be third striker ahead of Pongolle. We need 2 strikers in January, and a class foreigner plus a proven Prem performer would be ideal.

A loan from January til summer, with an option to buy. Sounds good to me.

he's been at madrid for 6 seaaons and scored 73 goals. when you consider that he's barely played two games in a row for them over the last couple of years due to ronaldo's arrival and being sent out on loan, that's good.

he also has about 23 goals in 36 games for spain if i'm not mistaken.
