A good send off for the reds captain /Legend ,I thought it was a decent game with plenty of crisp passing with Aspas and Allen being the pick of the bunch.
I also managed to convince the wife to leave her Kindle in the car

the players showed a big jump in fitness today and it showed during the first half. we were excellent and moved the ball really well and unfortunate to only be 1 up at that point.
good debut from aspas in front of the home crowd. allen looked sharp and could have had 3 if he didnt get a dose of the shelveys.
looking at the game today and we could field a decent starting 11 and for once we actually looked to have a decent bench sat there. henderson came on and had an instant impact with a sweet run and finish which shows that the training methods are working.
we could do with another quality player though and 2 if suarez goes and we might just contend that 4th spot.

Game was v good....love the city and was on the big wheel when Lucas, coutinho and Coates passed....I had camera and 10 year old gutted he couldn't get a pic

I don't want to take anything away from Gerrard's testimonial but the reception Suarez received today proved two things:

a) He's still welcome and wanted. (Never had my doubt personally that Anfield would react any different) 
b) Liverpool fans are class.

on the plus side, he did get to see fowler in a liverpool jersey again

Yes in years to come he can say  saw Fowler , Gerrard and Carra playing at Anfield in 2013, a rare feat indeed

Me and my mates were down there and none of them stopped for any pics which was a bit disappointing, got pics with Sturridge, Heskey, Wisdom, Carra and Razor Ruddock though, Sturridge was a real nice guy, really funny.
