Even if they want him, which I doubt, then he must agree personal terms and that would
be a drop in wages for Carroll as hes not worth what we are paying him.

Both parties hoped he would do enough to instigate this deal however he has been injured
and shyte since he went there, an all too familiar pattern for Carroll these days.

Why do you doubt they want him when they chased him all summer and then the chairmen comes out and says a deal with us has already been sorted

Oh and he hasn't been ***** for them - just scored the winner for them. With him they were playing well - without him they only won one league game in 2 and a half months until he is now back.

He scored and played well today by all accounts but that was after my post. I dont think
hes been a big influence for them overall though.

Its one game and if he can maintain that between now and the end of the season I will
be made up to see West Ham pay £15m or more.

See how it goes.

The Big Man was excellent in every respect today ,Swansea simply couldn't handle him . I for one would definitely love to see him back at the reds .

I don't think you have seen his games for them.

He is the reason why they were winning those early games and since he got injured their form went south

Only 1 win without him playing.

I agree he wont be back here but its more about style than content I accept that.

Obvious I am not a Carroll fan but I would pick him ahead of Borini any day but then again I dont think
either are good enough to move us forward.

just because you have a big target man doesnt mean you have to play ale house football, we never played ale house football when we had john toshack in the 70`s and we certainly didnt play ale house footy when we had john aldridge leading the line in the late 80`s.

Relatively speaking they were both better players

I haven't seen much of him this season, but he was useless today against Villa.  I hope he's sold for good money but we'll probably lose 20 -28 million on his fee. I would be shocked if we sell him for more than 8-9 million.  He's a frustrating player, can't trap a ball properly, has all sorts of problems with the ball at his feet.  I wish the lad the best, but not at LFC.

I didn't think he was all that bad today.  Was dominant in the air and had some decent hold up play.  Had a certain goal saved by Darren Bent.  We'll get whatever the agreed fee with West Ham is, I'd guess 15 mill or so.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

it's 20 million....however, I'll be shocked if the deal goes through.
