The missus got me a "Swiss Military" Hanowa Watch. Looks good and I know they cost around £250 but am I happy ?

The f'ucking thing comes with a manual, for christs' sake !

The grand total of 2 books: the Jungle Books to read to my boys (actually a very thoughtful book, its not the same as the film but a collection of short stories each with an inner message) and the history of Burma, about the 7th I have on the subject, so you can imagine I'm thrilled.  I bought the missus an iPad in comparison. Go figure.

F'ucking thing fell off my wrist last night the strap came away from the body of the watch ! Swiss military my ar'se , if their army's as tough as the watch no wonder they stay f'uckin neutral.

Back to the shop today for a refund   :veryangry

Yeah when she said "it cost around two fifty" I should've realised she meant £2.50 not £250.
