whoever they bring in is going to be a yes man who is prepared to work within this new structure. thats why we have only seriously looked at the likes of martinez, rodgers, lambert etc.

Due to the owners I think we can forget a big name manager
Were going to get the pi'ss taken out of us no matter who we get now so bring it on
:glare:

martinez imo is a better candidate than rodgers.
i hope fsg are saving the big names for the background team thats going to lead this club forward.

I don't get this... the most important person is the manager... the background team's not gonna do Sh*t but maybe bring in good promising players... but at the end of the day it is the manager who sets up the team and tactics...

maybe fsg are thinking outside the box  .
i dont particuarly agree with it myself but it appears thats the way they are rolling our dice.all we can do is sit back and watch and pray somehow they get it right.saying that if this is the calibre of manager we are looking to recruit then id feel much better knowing someone like van gaal is in the background helping out martinez or rodgers as they will need it.
i dont know much about rodgers at all but he is less experienced than martinez.he looks like a guy though that shouts and you listen plus his side does play nice football.

I'm totally fuc'ked off with FSG and their Fu*king bucket list of potential managers

Yeah, they got rid of twit and ***** and yeah they gave Kenny a load of dosh to spend, fair play to them but then things went tit's up, we won a piece of tin but failed to qualify for a place on the stage where the big boys play, what do they do next ? f'ucking bottle it  :veryangry

The money's dried up folks, FSG are looking to hire a manager who'll be prepared to cope with little investment and make do with what he's already got and hopefully keep us in a respectable position in the premiership. IMO FSG lack the passion (ie readiness to go all in) to restore us to former glory, they're probably already regretting their decision to get involved with LFC.

It's a f'ucking business now and we're only looking at cut price signings from top (manager) to bottom (players).

It's gonna be a long haul lads, right now we are staring at the possibility of years spent in mid table mediocrity. Are FSG looking to sign a TOP manager or the missing pieces in the team to lead us back to the top ?     :no

Instead we're just fed more  bu'llshit .

I for one am not surprised...football is not a passion for Americans...it's all about the money but they are not prepared to speculate to accumulate..

Apparently the background team will get a lot of power. Thats probably one of the reasons why we will have trouble finding a new manager.

Most important though is that Martinez has been managing a team in the top flight for most of the time and Rodgers has 1 season in the top flight as a manager....

Lesson learned. No matter what american owners you get the bottom line is always the same. As long as we don't make profits no money will get invested.

Brendan Rodgers ?! Seriously ?

Is this how far our club has fallen when it's a choice between Rodgers or Martinez ?!?!

Scratching around for unproven managers whilst proven winners sit there waiting
