Do you mean the same person who said AvB was favourite and also said they were speaking to Rafa ?

Andy Hunter didn't say that about AVB he said last week that the interest had cooled in AVB when there were twitter rumours that he would be appointed within days. It was The Mirror who said eight days ago that FSG wanted to talk to Rafa.

It's going to be interesting to see what FSG will do if Martinez, Van Gaal, Rodgers and possibly Lambert all say no.

Martinez will be manager. No sources, no rumours just what will be. On Tuesday, it will be confirmed.

I'm no so sure. He wants full control, I don't think FSG will meet his demands.

Not the greatest source (misleading headline?) but does seem to be linked to the rumour my friend provided yesterday. Interesting they say it’s now a two horse race between Klopp and one other. When my friend wakes up and I’ll ask if he has heard anything else.

I was under the impression that Klopp had already said "No Thanks" so not sure why he is being linked.

I haven't been online in a day or two but it seems like its probably going to be Martinez???

We've had 3 pretty mediocre league campaigns. It seems like the owners desperately need CL footie for their plans to take the club forward.
Players like Reina, Suarez, Skrtel etc aren't going to stick around if we miss out on CL again.

This season is really important for us!  Thats why Im so baffled at the relegation managers we're reaching out to.

Its a HUGE gamble and one that im not sure will pay off.

We're almost into June now with no manager, no DOF and half our squad participating in the Euros wont be back until July.  Not ideal preperation at all...

He is in the US, that’s why he is asleep. I already explained a few pages back that it’s not based on any facts that I’m aware of, just rumours circulating in the US over the weekend. The truth is that FSG have kept their cards very close to their chests while they take their time to get it right. The only facts we have is that (1) We have been given permission by Wigan to speak to Martinez and have interviewed him (2) We have made an approach for Rodgers, but been turned down, initially at least (3) Despite putting in a good showing, Dave Whelan was beaten to the job of Director of Communication for LFC by Jen Chang.

This is exactly why we need to go for someone in the Klopp mould, someone with some credentials in the European game so he can help bring in players we need.
