We traded in DIC for a pair of t!ts and now a kunt.
That's the problem with these Americans.... they always think that only their method works.
Everyone else is dumb. To hell with traditional know how.... bleeding arrogant.
Treated a club legend like this?
Atrocious.
I'm about ready to wash my hands off the whole damn mess.

He's also probably estatic that Roberto Martinez has the opportunity to manage at a higher level. He's always been of the belief that Martinez has the calibre and the ability to manage at a far greater level than Wigan and has made no secret of this belief. Even Benitez rates Martinez as a young & up coming manager.
I just hope that if he is appointed manager that he gets the support he deserves, the kind of support that Hodgson never received here.

Didn't DIC have financial problems when the Global economy went up the creek without a paddle? Also, FSG are doing what they think is best for the club, I don't see how the owners can be faulted for doing what needs to be done.
As for treating the legend like this? Like what? They appointed him as caretaker boss, he did very well, so they offered him a three year contract, they gave him investment and he splurged it, he then failed to improve on last years league finish and we ended up regressing from 6th to 8th, so they decided to sack him. Kenny took his sacking well, he said that the owners acted professionally and clearly has no hardship or gripes with the owners and has told the supporters to get behind them. If Kenny thinks the owners are the right people for the club, then fans should trust his judgement.
As for washing your hands of this 'whole damn mess', well don't you? This is the problem with a lot of supporters, they'll support when things are done their way, but heaven forbid if it isn't, they'll take their 'support' elsewhere or finish their association. Of course it's an empty vessel making loud noise, because when things start going right again, then it's time to become the biggest supporter around town.
FSG have done nothing wrong and have been unfairly targeted as 'villains of the peace'. Most of what is being written and produced in the media is total nonsense. A lot like how many of our supporters who criticised the last owners for always going public with information and affairs, but then criticise the current owners for doing business behind closed doors and not consulting the fans on their plans? What right have supporters got to demand that owners share their business details and future plans with them? Your job, our job is to support the team and everyone associated with the club, it's not to dictate to FSG how they must act and what they must do.
These are businessmen who own the Boston Red Sox, a major sporting institution, they came into this institution when it was failing and had long since basked in glory, they redeveloped their stadium, they invested a great deal of money into Boston and the club won its first league title in over 80 years. Just because they have never run a football club doesn't mean they are clueless - if Martinez is appointed it's because they feel he is the right man for the job. If they feel he is, then I'll back him and if he turns out to be another Hodgson, then FSG will have to hold their hands up and search for another manager who can deliver the goods.
A lot of pessimism generated from Liverpool supporters is unjustified and not needed at all. We are not in a crisis, we are not in a bad shape. Just sit back and wait for things to happen, rather than making cast iron, forgone conclusions about what might or might not happen.
