Hysterical! Of course Im hysterical!
The worlds crashing down around our ears. The things we had which kept us above the likes of evertonians was dignity, class and the ability to attract good managers. Fu'ck me, Martinez and Rodgers! We laughed when they got moyes from mighty preston. We are interviewing 12 people. How desperate are we?! They are now rightly laughing their ***** off at us with good reason. Its a Fu*king shambles!
Sadly I have to accept that we are no longer what we were. If ever there was evidence that we have slipped into being a mid table, mediocre club this is it

ahahahahahahahahahahahahahah what an idiot

Fu'ck off and play with your Ben10 figure

"Did we progress under Kenny in the league? How?"

Taking into consideration what happened last season I think 8th wasnt as bad as people are making out
Of course we wanted to finish higher and even reach 4th but it wasnt to be. Thats not reason enough to sack KK. It was just an excuse
What KK should have done was got us from 12th to 10th instead of 6th in his first season, then up to 8th this one. Then it would have been progress...
:nod

It is bad because you don't spend that kind of money and end up 8th.
Apart from the poor transfers, his stubbornness also caused his downfall.
He constantly put his faith on players like Downing and Henderson instead of Kuyt and Maxi, who will guarantee you goals.
Maxi, plays so little but somehow always scores. His positioning and ability to instinctively score is just amazing.
There's many other justifications which have been mentioned but IMO, this was the correct decision.
Now let's wait and see who the next manager is before we get hysterical.

the next manager whoever he is will have to work with the same tools mate.
kuyt and maxi will guarantee you goals :no the only amazing thing about maxi is how he manages to hide for large periods of the game on a field with 21 other lads and millions watching.he's the south american equivalent of wheres wally.
the next man will also persevere with hendo and downing over maxi and kuyt as they were just signed a year ago and have more potential than the latter going forward.

It was the right decision by Rodgers , he new he would be on a hiding to nothing , far far to early and inexperienced in his career to even contemplate us talking to him ,
HE WHO BETRAYS WILL ALWAYS WALK ALONE

I don't like Riikjard, not as tactical astute as Pep, Riijkard had Ten Cate doing all his work at Barcelona

Ian Ayres has pretty much just said that the manager role is going to be more of a coach role.  Basically a Yes Man that will just pick / train the team.

Dont read between the lines mate, everyones making assumptions left, right and centre atm and in all honestly no one really knows f*ck all outside a select few within the club, and what its resulting in is crazy scaremongering and infighting and in Thommosperms case, some kind of complete mental breakdown.

All we know at this point is that a couple of men have definitely been approached and that the club intend to speak to a few more. Any lists of potential candidates being banded about the media is pure speculation.

The owners have decided to restructure the club, this is obvious given the amount of upper executives have been ousted in the last few weeks, but again we dont know if they want one director of football, two directors of football as some are claiming, a basic coach to pick and train the team or anything else. We will find out when these positions are filled by FSG so all this "the sky is falling" melodramatic bullsh*t is doing nothing but fuelling panic that isnt warranted. Should we be apprehensive? Absolutely, given our general lack of trust in the football knowledge Henry and Werner possess and their rather coldblooded, if not totally unexpected axing of a club icon but lets not start biting on the cyanide capsules just yet until we at least know for certain what their plan of action actually is.

most managers need to have people working hard in the background as part of a team to generate success.its rarely down to one man alone.
its important the new manager surrounds himself with the right people willing to grab an oar rather than sitting in the background poking him with it.

Good point by Red till i die. Which reminds me of how performances on the pitch went downhill when Pako left the club during Rafa's reign.

Dude, when Pako left and Sammy Lee came in we had our best league finished in two decades!

Oh!   Sorry, my memory regarding Pako is vague but I recall some posters then saying how things are falling apart because Pako wasn't around or something like that

Also what has he done in the last four years? He was disastrous at Galatasary and is currently the head coach of Saudi Arabia.

Many of our own supporters are behaving as arrogantly as Chelsea supporters.
