Watching them today, the way they switch it and have fluency and threat from all over the pitch reminded me of some of our best teams of the past. In truth it would probably take a 'best of' team from us to turn 'em over. I know they lost but I thought they were different class. I'm not going to get into the refeeing, 'done that on the Ferguson thread but to say I thought they were unlucky to lose would be an understatement.
Also, the undercurrent of improvement and the cultural overhaul which is taking place at Anfield at the moment reminds me a little of the A rse when Graham first went there. I know he turned them into Wimbledon mark two but the transformation from also-rans into contenders was quite obvious from the outset. I think the signs are good for us. yes for sure we will have our dodgy performances still and we ain't gonna win alot this year, but things are on the up I'm sure.
