5 Live have had a 3 hour debate this morning about Suarez because of what happened in Portugal last night, but they want to stop talking about it?

I am fecking fuming

what show?
as it was not on Nicky Campbell and Rachel Burden 6am to 9am

heres the link to their show
6am-9am

i think you meen the 1he phone in from 9am to 10am
and it was not "3 hour debate this morning about Suarez "
in fact there was only one main call from a young lad at 58mins into the 1hr show.

9am to 10am

You could not find any other subject in England where every single journalist has exactly the same viewpoint.

this bit here is especially on the button. any time any one from our side even attempted to present the issue from ours and suarez's point of view we were silenced with the claim of 'supporting racism'.

and this when it was stated from the outset that the case wasn't even about the player being a racist.

again this is due to most of the sports media now being based in manchester.

it was funny when this forum would have a pop at the southern :censored: media reporters..........its a lot worse now there are based up north. lol

the press have always been anti liverpool and i`m not just talking about the football club so it doesnt matter where they are based.
because they are owned by rich men most papers in this country lean to the right and liverpool rightly or wrongly is seen as the most left leaning, working class city in the country.
even when we were winning allsorts the press used to say we were boring, mechanical and our teams wouldnt be remembered as fondly as united`s best, law and charlton side etc
i think what also p1$$ed the press off was that the people in liverpool didnt give a f##k what they said.
it`s that history between the press and liverpool that makes kennys grovelling apology to the b@st@rds even more galling.

No I didnt it was 5Live & talksport my point was what does Suarez have to do with what happened in Portugal last night?
Why are they even mentioning Suarez when they keep saying.

"We want this to go away" when they clearly dont !!!

And another thing its got nothing to do with The Southern press and my dislike for them, they are all the same from Down South to Up north. The only journo to stick up for us has been Rory Smith and he's Irish even Liverpool based journo's who are Liverpool fans have stuck the boot & knife in all because of their fear of that arl bitter p!ssed up b@stard Fergie, and that is my problem it is so obvious its unreal that 99% of them are petrified of him.

And you hardly have any credibilty calling me out when 99% what you posted during the Twit & Tw@t debarcle was false.

Stick to Reading Tarot Cards & Tea Leaves.

That was the worst thing about Sky and their "coverage" of the game last weekend. They kept saying "we hoped this would be the end of this issue".

Yeah of course you did. That's why you talked about a bloody handshake for half an hour before the game including one of the most cringeworthy montages I've ever seen about the whole affair. Banged on about it for the whole half time period, during which Shreeves was virtually loving the fact that there was a bit of controversy. Just to make it a bit more balanced, we had Darren f#cking Fletcher in the studio telling us that Evra was "the bigger man" of the two (not the sharpest knife in the drawer that lad).

It says something when the one speaking the most sense (not for the first time) was Gary Neville. This had sod all to do with a handshake. This was a Liverpool-Manchester United thing that due to sheer incompetence, the FA let get completely out of hand.

Sod Sky and sod their agenda. The only person worth listening to on the whole issue is John Barnes.

they usually have adverts on when the pre match handshakes take place as well, for some reason they decided to show them live in that game. sky hoped the issue was already finished? my @rse!

er yes you did "5 Live have had a 3 hour debate this morning about Suarez because of what happened in Portugal last night, but they want to stop talking about it?"

as shown by my links to the shows everyone can see that liverpool was only spoken about for 5mins, yet you said it was a 3 hours on five live.

and as for my posts during the takeover stuff. it was all real event stuff, the whole thing was so :censored: up that BOA ML, RBS had no idea what was going on most of the time and i was just feeding back on here the events that were taking place in buildings in london and press room of the bbc.

as i have said before bbc media read our forum and they so saying they did something they did not dont go down well with the way the bbc look at this forum or our fans.

I don't give a flying fook what anybody thinks of LFC or the city in general as for us leaning to the left in politics well I say thank fook for that I don't want to be associated with greedy, selfish t.wats who care for nothing but themselves. I want Liverpool to have It's own republic, after all WERE NOT ENGLISH WE ARE SCOUSE!
