Cheers

You can take a taxi from Lime Street or buses go from nearby Queen Square Bus Station opposite.

I think the number 17 stops outside the stadium and the 14 to Breck Road, but I am not certain.

It is 'walkable' , but takes 20 minutes or so.

I'm finally making it to my first game for the Stoke home game. I think i've sussed out getting there but how easy is it to get a cab back to the railway station after the game? On a bit of a tight schedule if i'm going to make it home the same day :(

Any other tips for an Anfield first timer?

Should be fairly easy, there are always loads about, however if you leave perhaps say a couple of minutes early (if you are happy to do that), then it will be a lot easier.
