They had a chance a few years back when they asked the people, and the families who suffered during the Hillsborough disaster, what they can do to put it right.

They all said print front page "WE LIED" but they refused to do it.

So no, they have missed the chance. Any punishment these lousy b*stards get still wont justify the lies they were so quick to print.

it wouldnt matter what the scum did to atone for it i still wouldnt buy their rag of a paper.
very little and way too late and i hope murdochs empire crumble.that man has no morals or respect for privacy or compassion and deserves to be jailed for the acts his companies carried out over the years.
its a disgrace that they got away with this for so long.

what needs to be done is for us to be told why they printed it, where in info come from, who looked into it to see if it was true and who gave the ok to print it. ok they have said sorry but have not said why it happend.

a lot of the staff that day have gone on to work in sky and sky sports. it would be nice to know their names and what input that had on the reports made that day.
