Some funny responses  :D

Clichéd wise words are the answer:

Plenty more fish in the sea, plenty more sea's to fish. Time is the best healer of them all. All that stuff.

It's true though, time IS the best healer. How best to pass the time? Drugs, alcohol, women, more drugs, and some booze, and some chicks too, oh, and babes. There's a million women out there ready to dump me, and 10 zillion who won't even give me the chance to show them why they should dump me.  :(

Gotta have fun, surrounded by friends and good people. It's amazing how quickly a new lady can cure ya of the old one.  :buttrock

well, all I can say that your mate is a very lucky man having such a caring and considerate friend as you. A friend who must be like a rock to him at this delicate and fragile moment in time. A friend who he knows at the end of it all no matter what life throws up at him he can always turn to you Ethanr...

...who will then go and seek advice on a football forum.  :buttrock

well, what a place this is to seek love advice. High flyers, low lifes, sex pests, drug abusers, alcoholics, hippies, waifs and strays - we're all on here. But, at least we're all Liverpool Fans.

should rename this thread...    Dear Deirdre

3 years... long term relationship?  :D

Your mate probably dodged a bullet anyways. The real nagging starts after the first year or two.

The simplest advice is to party hard, try to relax, realise there are so many more girls out there and after a while find someone new but not right away do not rush into something. Oh and banging some slappers probably helps as well.

This brings back memories. At first I was pretty cut up but time is a healer. How long depends on you but try to occupy your time with other things.

tell you what you have to do Ethan, go out, get p!ssed and get some other bird to sit on your face - sister is a great shout but don't embarass yourself.

Also, cut all ties with her, ex is ex for a reason, tell her to p!ss off

Nothing he (I'm thinking it's you) can do. The only thing to do is just wait. The more time goes on, the easier it might get.
