but the case would still stand that we (this side of the world) would only have to deal with poor sun light and temp of around -8 for a year. water would be the first problm but its said we would be able to deal with that in the spce of 2 weeks and with most parts of the uk wll have clean water in 6 weeks.
most power stations in the uk will still be running and in the event of a short fall the coal power stations will open back up their closed parts like Tilbury in essex.
with 90% of noth america gone life will not be the same, in fact we would be taken back by 200 years.
