I'm not so sure he would have been given anywhere near as much to spend dude, or it would have been Commoli pulling most of the strings.

Not bad from Rafa.

He made us 50 million in profit from Alonso and Torres.

Oh, that right. he was still poor in the transfer market....

I would say the best Lfc manager ever in the transfer market.

I honestly dont think torres was working for LFC anyhow overall. it just wasnt working out properly. I dont hink he is the right kind of striker for us.

If all these deals go through, how funny would it be if we then pipped Chelsea to 4th place, with them in the Europa.

Holloway not giving away too much, but I bet we have upped our offer.

Am i right in saying that if a bid is accepted, then that is enough to beat the transfer deadline, and medicals/ personal talks can happen later?

Ha

It'll be strange seeing Torres in blue but he's a Chelsea player now.  We now have two very good forwards instead of an injury prone world class CF.

It's been a while since we had two quality strikers, I don't believe we will miss him as much as some might think.

Not for me. Owen was a wee c'unt, the way he left - the club were pushing to resign for ages and he kept being interviewed, saying how close he was to going, all butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. Then, in the end up he f'ucked off right at the end of the transfer market for £8 million quid with only a year left on his contract.
