Never played the game you patronising :censored:. Owen, Fowler and Gerrard were all kids when they WALKED into the Liverpool team. Its about ability if you think Lukaku and Hazard wouldnt improve our team now over the likes of Ngog, maxi or Kuyt your an idiot. Just because some people follow the game outside of the Prem and know far more about the game then you, doesnt mean you should labell them as fantasists. Despite any transitional period they would need they are far better players then what we have.

The fact you dont think buying players like Lukaku and Hazard would be a good idea doesnt say much about you in a positive light to be honest.

Torres approaching Dalglish

Torres Unhappy

Torres wants to talk to you about something

KD :''You wanted to see me''

FT: ''I'm unhappy and looking for a new challenge''

KD : ''But I feel your vital part of the team and won't let you go''

FT: '' I don't understand why your doing this to me and feel like I have to move on ''

KD: '' I'm shocked by your attitude, and lack of professionalism, I'm the manager and I say what goes ''

FT: '' I stand by what I said, I'll be leaving before I say something that I will regret ''

Torres - Has a poor relationship with you

Gerrard - unhappy
Carragher - unhappy
Meireles - unhappy

  :D[/quote]

LMAO Mate, the amount of times Ive got that reaction from my players in that game! In the end Steven Gerrard had a worse opinion of me that Alex Ferguson!

Ha, clearly your a huge follower of Belgian and French footy then  :lookaround

Just so you know Mr Sensitive, I watch a hell of alot more La Liga and Champions League then I do Prem footy, we're not all uncultured, kick and run neanderthals this side of the channel!

My post doesnt say they'd be bad signing btw, I said that in this Jan window if we sell our top striker it would not be the right time to sign them as we'd need and expect them to deliver the world as soon as they arrived which would be hugely unfair and potentially career damaging. We'd need a stop gap for the next 6 months, someone with experience who could do a job before we put a £50m winfall to good use in the summer, which since it would be counted as income and could be arranged to be paid on July 1st would not effect us under the new financial restrictions

Ya it seems that we won't be signing anybody if we wait that long tho... I guess we could make the deals before having the cash but I dunno.

play gerrard behind suarez and recall aquilani? Could really do with some pace on the flank though for that to work

Hasn't it already been said we aren't going to recall aqua? we can still play a 4-5-1 if we don't get a striker but the difference is Suarez, no Torres.

i'm just gutted over the whole situation, We was always told how much he loved the club and how down to earth he was but it seems he has just been kidding us all along, It will all be very interesting when it comes out in the wash, God knows how Kenny is feeling over this he must be gutted.

there was good stuff on five live tonight.
i can see why we need to do a deal that would also give us a striker.....as when torres lleaves we have none that can play in the EL.

doing my head in all this im off to watch a movie, you know what i have no problem with a player wanting away, but the least you expect is they dont rub your face in the dirt during the process, tomorrow is going to be a long day.
