Sums it all up really.

Sorry to loose a class player but the team is more important.
By staying he could bring the momentum being built to a sharp stop!
If only he had the mentality of "if i try harder we may improve" rather than "no ones up to my level i'm wasting my time",
we could have done better this year and be higher up the table than we are now, his team mates my improve with that confidence!
In essence i really hope if he does leave, we get that mentality of we'll show him what he has walked out on, we'll show everyone that LFC is bigger than one player!
I would imagine LFC are trying to get someone in and top price for their man and we won't here anymore till late on Monday!

On a personal note i can understand a player feeling like he has been promised things that because of H&G were never going to happen!
But the timing!!! What was he thinking!!!!!!!!!

what worries me is being without a leading line striker for the rest of the season.

I dont know whether Suarez can lead the line - he plays, and was bought to play on the left of the front 3.  He is a great aquisition, but may not settle into a new team and new league straight away.

Even if Anelka is 31, he's still a leading line striker who knows the premiership, and might be a good option with 36 hours to go before the transfer deadline

Shouldt he be at Melwood by now? This doesn't look good does it.

Dalglish is there, Suarez is there and so is everyone else and their dog

But he isnt..

Put 2 and 2 together and it equals a Chelsea jersey with Torres on the back of it

Rumours on Twitter hes been seen in london with a hat on, being followed by someone shouting "Torres you [four king] scumbag"

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

So be it.

No-one is bigger than this club, we will move on...we always do.

I would wish him luck, but this was not handled with dignity on his part. So i won't show him none.

If he does end up staying......he should atleast act like a professional and do his job.
