42 + Anelka would be a great deal for us. Although i find it hard to believe Chelsea whould agree to this. Torres coming to Liverpool has brought high hopes for all of us and we had many happy moments with the boy but his Leaving ,in my opinion ,also brings additional hope for a better future if we are smart enough to use the funds to rebuild the squad.

If he does go, then its gotta be 50million. If chelsea are so desperate then lets make the fukkers pay.

50 million invested back into the first team would make a very very big difference. I know its not happy days right now ladies and gents, but with this ivestment and a little top up from the board and we could easily bring in 3/4 world class players who would undoubtably improve the team.

We will find another prolific striker, if you look down the years we always have.

Rush
Aldridge
Dalglish
Fowler
Owen
Torres

There has always been someone to bang the goals in and hopefully suarez will be that man.

Lets just use the money to buy the players to give him that great support.

Most of the press seem to have the same story this morning . He can go for £50m . They all appear to have the same story that Kenny has agreed he should go as he doesn't want an unhappy player.

Really hoped I'd get up and he'd have released a statement saying it was all his agent's fault and he was sorry.

It seems like the days of Fernando Torres as a Liverpool player are all but over. It's so sad .

I'm still not hearing any news of it.  Its midnight here though so I'm heading to bed.  Expecting to see some interesting stuff of soccernet and LFC.tv when I wake up in 8 hours.

I went to bed with a heavy heart. My first thought on waking was Fernando, so I was up and online checking out developments.

If he stays, I believe his professionalism will get him through till the summer and I'll celebrate every goal he scores. If he goes, we'll have money to spend (and hopefully Anelka). I just wish this'd all happened earlier, so we'd had time to buy a CB and a winger as well as Suarez and maybe Charlie.

Meanwhile 100 people are dead in Egypt.

I for one refuse to let the selfish actions (and putting in a transfer request only 3 days out from the close of the window is very selfish) of a football player continue to dominate my thoughts and feelings when there are real tragedies out there. It's simply not worth it.

But no doubt it'll be my last thought before going to bed tonight, and my first thought when I wake up.

Damnit

f.uck that noise. Torres played like :censored: the entire beginning of this season and end of last season. body language my :censored:, that dude was just a CHUMP. i say let chelsea take the buyout, but there doesnt seem time to put any deal down before the window closes for other people. classy move by chelsea, cause they raid the only striker we got and get to f.uck us in the :censored: with a late bid too. still hoping for a change of heart. if he still got one.

If he wants to go let him, he hasn't been the same player since his first season with us anyway.
My main concern is getting someone in quickly to replace him, though if we can get Adam and someone else that wouldn't be so bad.

If Torres isn't happy sell him but make sure we get £50 million, everyone else plays hard ball with us, let's do the same.

LFC.TV updated this morning.  New images for the Torres story, and a couple of changes to the five stories shown, but no actual updates on the content.

Maybe they need Torres at Melwood to sort stuff out.  We probably won't hear anything till lunch time ish.

(Just watch the site update in two minutes with an annoucement!!)
