I can't see this being a long term solution Anelka is nearly 32 NESV said they would sign young players. Chelsea/City reject Sturridge isn't the answer and neither is Anelka. We should be holding out for more than £50 million if Anelka is being thrown in. If Chelsea have so much money make them pay £70 milion.

bloody right too. if they were any good they'd have brought the transfer window forward by two months just to keep him happy.

Agree completely, No old Pro/Anti stuff should be involved in this discussion.

No news is ominous if you ask me. Usually a statement would be made to squash this kind of sh*t. Hasn't happened. I only hope the club decide to f*ck Chelsea over in this by not sanctioning the deal. Torres can go in the summer to someone else other than them b"stards if he wishes.
now if all this agent stuff is true. His image and reputation is all in tatters this morning.

Well they could have at the least not waited till less than a week to go to make a marquee signing. Getting Suarez in as soon as the window opened might have shown more intent.
Im happy we have Suarez now but if FSG don't start getting others in fast it will only be a matter of time before talk of Pepe wanting away starts up and tbh id consider losing him as bad if not worse than Torres.
