He insists this is all a story made up by the media and Torres agent who is soon to be an ex agent. this has all come to Chelseas attention so they have tabled 3 bids - all knocked back. Abramovich would love Torres at chelsea not Ancelotti. By all accounts (how true I cant tell ya) Torres won't be going anywhere. He doesn't know if the transfer request was Torres doing or not. He suspects not directly as he has been in Spain.

not really any wiser are we?

Tell us the player's name then we will decide its credibility  :D

If it is true, then it will be a big morale boost to the club in all front. But just fear that if indeed we get a 50million deal + Anelka, would the club turn it down? The waiting is killing me. Almost 3am here and still waiting....

Anncelotti wont even be there next season Roman picks their players.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

bloody right too. if they were any good they'd have brought the transfer window forward by two months just to keep him happy.

Well they could have at the least not waited till less than a week to go to make a marquee signing. Getting Suarez in as soon as the window opened might have shown more intent.

Im happy we have Suarez now but if FSG don't start getting others in fast it will only be a matter of time before talk of Pepe wanting away starts up and tbh id consider losing him as bad if not worse than Torres.

Some of my earlier posts may have been out of order, and I'd have carded me if I was a mod.  I just love Torres in our red shirt and would be gutted to see him with another Prem side.  If he was moving to Barca, that would be completely different.

Bav, you posted earlier that this season is a write off.  I have to disagree mate.  We are 7th, 6 pts off 5th and 9 pts off 4th,  If we find a bit of form, and the teams ahead of us keep dropping points as they have done all season, Champions League is not yet completely out of reach.

With Suarez coming in, and if Nando stays, I think we can make a true run at it.  Well at least my rose colored specs think so.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Rafa , at Chelsea with 'I am the boss you have no say in who I decide to buy Abramovich ' in charge. I don't think so.
It would be a marriage made in HELL.

Are you mad , i knew it wouldnt take long for him to get the blame, Let me tell you a few facts , A certain fat spanish fella caused murders when he heard about a clause being put in contracts by i am mr Liverpool, and not just Fernandos either, Fernando asked to leave last season i have already said that but was persuade to stay by a certain fat spanish fella,

Worse. Strikers are replaceable, always a new one popping up.  Keepers aren't.  Reina has done so much for us and he is, in my opinion, the best keeper in the EPL right now.  manure need a keeper and arsenal, so he would probably end up going one of those places.  It would make us worse and them better.  Not to mention, we would end up with a mediocre keeper for a long time, stuck like arsenal.

But I agree.  If Torres goes and we don't sign anybody soon, Reina could be looking at leaving come summer.
