I expect Pepe to follow suit... and don't give me any of that he won't he's different. That's what I thought about Torres.

I don't want him at the club now, Owen part 2

I can't believe he is going to them.....I never thought if see the day

at least the new owners will play hardball and not give in like H&G.

They better stand strong, the fact that they have left it so late means we should not fold until they bid 50-60Mil.

Damien is going to have to work overtime to find another striker now.

if ever our new owners wanted to win over the fans, now's the time. Tell the Chavs to f**k off and tell Torres he'll rot in the reserves if he wont play. Then flog him in the summer.

this... 100%
can't f'cking believe it
lost for words

Reina and Gerrard are the same, fúck me it hurts but if your in the club day in and day out and your struggling to stay in the league let alone trying to win it, as a world class player you may think your at the wrong club.

agreed,

but chelsea?

really? chelsea?

blows my mind

It's an understatement to say I'm disappointed, tbh saw it coming but thought it wouldn't happen until the summer. I don't see a point in keeping a player who doesn't want to be at the club.

Well we are just going to have to get the best deal possible for the club and spend the money intelligently.
REST IN PEACE PHIL!

Still might not happen. If the club doesn't want to sell him, he's under contract and there is f*ck all he or the Chavs can do about it once that window shuts. If that happens, then maybe there is a chance he'll see the error of his ways, but this is a fairly sickening insight into Torres' character.

Player power wins at most clubs, but not #LFC. Torres transfer request should serve as reminder that no player is bigger than the club #CFC

Is right!

For whatever reason (not sure why), I just can't see him going to Cheaski. Just doesn't make sense. A simple analagy would be a one of Real Atlectico' best players moving to Real Madrid and vice versa (would never happen at any cost). The player would know the fans would turn on him big time...........

On the broken promises it's kind of childish to be throwing a tantrum now with new owners in place. Just fk off already.
