if he wants out and puts in a transfer request then i would ring man city and then sit back, tell him he goes to the highest bidder and nowhere else.

Was feeling pretty optimistic there, for an hour or so. Hopefully the buy out clause is BS, in which case he's going nowhere. It'd be madness to sell with no time to find a replacement. Puts us back to square one. Further back, probably, with Suarez, as yet, unproven in England.

I could handle him wanting to move abroad, but the fact that he may want to move to one of our biggest rivals if true will leave a very bad taste in our mouths, he will become a hate figure to the level of Hicks and Gillette, 24hrs ago I would have said was a total impossibility for anyone to reach

I have only posted on here a hand full of times but i look on here every day............i feel sick....as sick as i felt when rush went...........as sick as i felt when aldridge went.

I really wouldn't care if he went to barcelona or madrid as long as we got 50 mill for him IF HE WANTS TO GO and kenny was here to stay and rebuild with the cash.........but Chelsea...........do me a favour...might as well go to scum utd !!.

If his arm band said he was a red ......was true surely to god he knows how we all feel.

if the rumours are true could the signing of Suarez be the clubs final attempt to change his mind, lets not forget how far the Gerrard to Chelsea deal nearly got.

That was my line of thinking when I saw the figure quoted that we're gonna pay for him, its a big jump from the £13m we had apparently bid 2 days ago, but I dont think Fenway would be scared into a panic purchase just to keep a player happy, and nor should they
