All those who hate Carra will now be able to see first hand what we are like without him...

Who hates Carragher?

I think we'll cope in footballing terms but the lack of organisation and direction may show.

I think pepe will get it, not sure if Roy has ever given a keeper that role before has he?

Torres, or Pepe. but i would prefer Torres, and outfield player and would be able to communicate with the ref without having to run half the pitch.

Personally I wouldn't mind if Lucas got it to be honest. He has been a captain before and his performances this season have certainly merited it.

It'll be Pepe though.

For me Lucas would choke under the pressure. Historically he has been affected by crowd pressure let alone as captain and the responsibility it brings.

Torres however has already been a success as a captain and the responsibility will bring, in my opinion, renewed confidence and motivation.

The team will benefit more from a Torres captaincy.

Torres is an interesting choice, but if it was my decision I'd give it to Reina.

Do we continue to pamper to their over-paid ego's and give Torres the captaincy hoping it is enough to give him that jolt of life that'll get the finger out of his :censored: or shouldn't we expect a man of his calibre to be doing that anyway? Agree with an earlier post about Reina being unable to run the length of a field to contest one of the many debatable decisions that go against us. I'd give it to Kuyt. His work-rate alone sends the right vibes to his colleagues
